I was using a script to add a manifest to my compiled VB6 .exe files. My OS is XP. It used [login to view URL] until today when [login to view URL] was completely blank. I tried reinstalling the SDK libraries and found [login to view URL] in another folder. I copied it over the existing blank [login to view URL] but still get a message in a DOS screen:
The x86 compilers are not currently installed.
Please go to Add/Remove Programs to update your installation.
Setting SDK environment relative to C:\Program Files\Microsoft SDKs\Windows\v6.1.
Targetting Windows XP x86 DEBUG.
The properties of the shortcut I've been running for 5 years or so is:
Target: C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\[login to view URL] /E:ON /V:ON /T:0E /K "C:\Program Files\Microsoft SDKs\Windows\v6.1\Bin\[login to view URL]"
Start In: "C:\Program Files\Microsoft SDKs\Windows\v6.1\"
I need to get this working again.
