Hi, I have been in engineering for 40 years, 15 years in the UK-MOD - aerospace industry and 25 years in oil & gas industry. I served a 5 year apprenticeship in the 70’s with Ferranti-UK working on various radar systems packaging mechanical and electronic components. I then moved into the oil industry assisting in the design of subsea tools and ROV’s. I then moved into pipelaying equipment and ships. For your project I feel I’m more than capable of completing this task as I have a lot of experience working with machined components to tight tolerances, sheet metal work and structural items for the oil industry and understand the need for accuracy when 3D modelling. I have all my own Licensed Inventor/Autocad (2015) and can supply in DWG/IDW or Inventor 3D model. one thing I've noticed on your Sketch, Is a sharp internal corner in the bend of the item, if this is made from metal then there should be a bend radius as this will be a stress point if there is no radius. please view my portfolio for examples of my work regards hughcw
