I have a website that I need translated into Portuguese for the Brazilian market. The entire website does not necessarily need to be translated, just the most essential to make sales. In other words, I am open to having a condensed version of the site. I have a Brazilian domain name and a Brazilian hosting account, I just need the translation and design work done and then the finished product uploaded to the server. A direct translation of everything word-for-word is also not critical as many things may not translate well. So I need someone who really knows the native dialect and can translate for maximum effectiveness. Because of this, your translation skills are WAY more important then your web design skills. As a matter of fact, if you have no web skills apply anyway as I can always get someone else to handle the technical stuff. It is just a bonus if you have them because maybe you will have insight into how websites in Brazil "flow" for the user down there.

I have some technical knowledge of how websites works and as you said that's a plus ;) Besides that, I am a native Brazilian, so I do speak BR-Portuguese fluently(as well as English). I also get what you mean by "flow", some translations done by folks around here are too stiff and don't stick with native users. We will work on that, for the best experience possible.
