I am looking for a personal assistant to work guaranteed and consistent hours on a permanent basis. I'm looking for someone to work a 3 hour block, Monday to Friday, US Pacific Time (PST). Guaranteed hours means you can bill me for the time we've agreed upon every day, even if I don't have any work for you (although I will likely always have work for you). The exact time block during PST hours, and the length of the guaranteed time block is negotiable. There may be the opportunity to further increase the hours to full-time or near full-time in the future if desired. I am looking for someone I can work with permanently. I run a successful business, and am researching and starting others. You will learn a great deal about entrepreneurship, running a business, online marketing, sales and more. Duties will include: - Regular liaison with myself over skype and email - Scheduling meetings - Sending emails on my behalf - Data entry - Phone calls (following up, surveys) - Hiring and managing other outsourcers - Other duties I provide very specific written instructions for all tasks. If you do not have excellent written and spoken English, and are not comfortable making phone calls (over Skype or similar) then you should not apply for this position. I will provide skype credit. Hello, This is Rex and I would like to apply for the position of Virtual Assistant. I have been working as a Virtual Assistant for more than 4 yrs now, and have been freelancing for more than 6 yrs. I have done everything from writing articles to books to managing social media, writing and posting content, managing customer service and even cold calling to make sales. Currently I am coming off a long term project that lasted nearly 4 yrs where I was working for a company that organizes events. I was in charge of all the social media, chatting to potential sponsors, investors and attendees ensuring that they were happy with our service. I worked without much oversight, and my client would just send me mails on what was needed. I will find a way to do it, and will check in only if there was something that I did not know or if I felt that they needed to sign off on something. I sent out mails on my client's behalf, often writing them out and saving them as drafts for a final perusal before being sent. I scheduled meetings between my client and potential sponsors and investors who I had followed up with. I maintained reports, and also occasionally hired freelancers to do something that I could not do. Before starting my freelance career, I worked at a recruitment agency hiring temp workers for companies like Sun MIcrosystems, SLAC, BAE, Pratt & Whitney etc. I was head of operations and had a team of 20 recruiters/sourcers under me. Am closing now because of space constraint
