The application development requirements: - Being comfortable working with Electron, [login to view URL] . Vue.JS, Node.JS, and document-based data stores (Elastic) - If necessary, you must be able to pass the background and other requirements for a Security Clearance from the US Government? (Secret) - Be comfortable working with large datasets? (700k+ JSON documents) The application is a compliance dashboard app for a Department of Defense customer that is based around standardized vulnerability management and IT security procedures they have (CCRI), that we are working on automating using one of the Security/Compliance platform, Forescout. The application gathers vulnerability information and summarizes it using a weighted method using the type of device the vulnerability is on. The application also requires a fair amount of user input/configuration to answer Qualitative questions that are not machine determinable. The application is written using [login to view URL] / Vue.JS and is wrapped in an Electron container for running on a user's desktop and also has a web server component (still to be developed) to maintain historical trends and other data. The underpinnings of the app have already been developed, but now it is a lot of tweaking, bug fixing, and feature development to meet all the needs. It's likely several months of effort remaining to get us to a good place with the product. Daventry Solutions, is a small company myself and a coworker has just started to meet the agile needs of some of the companies we work with frequently. We are positioned as a subcontractor for these companies. Start mid January. 3-6 month job and 20/30 hours a week.
