Programmer needed for utility to run within Microsoft Internet Explorer (IE) browser and encrypt text that the user has selected. The user enters a keyword that is used for the encryption. The publicly available BlowFish algorithm is used for the encryption.
1. User installs plug-in into their browser
2. They specify a key word that they want to use for encryption.
3. They select a portion of the text within the browser window.
4. They invoke the PLUG IN. Select the keyword they want to use for encryption.
5. The PLUG IN encrypts the selected text and replaces what they had highlighted with the encrypted text.
6. Recipient receives the text - could be in an email or in an online form.
the Recipient also has to have the plug-in in their browser as well.
7. Recipient highlights the text that they want encrypted. The SENDER will inform the recipient about the KEYWORD to be used for decryption separately.
8. Recipient types in the KEYWORD. UTILITY decrypts the text and then replaces the highlighted text with the decrypted version.
