Examination Results analysis system

This Responsive Examination Results Analysis software allows the user to perform easy computational analysis of students’ end of term and BECE results and much more to be added upon request. The main idea behind the development of this software is to eliminate totally the pen and paper system of analysing examination results of students in Ghana schools. The software has two user accounts (Head teacher and District Exam Officer). The head teacher’s account allows the head teacher to perform school based analysis and also to submit the analysis summary to the district/municipal exams officer remotely. The district exam officer’s account allows the exams officer to receive all results submissions and perform real time computations and analysis of district/municipal based results. The software will go a long way in helping Ghana Education Service, public and private schools to reduce too much time and errors in their exam analysis and computations. Tools: • Apache Server • PHP Programming language • JavaScript JS • HTML • CSS • MySQL Database Software Security: • All user passwords are encrypted using PHP technology which prevents any unauthorised user from accessing the system. • The system automatically logs out after 5 minutes of being idle. • In case of a compromise in login credentials, the user can request for a password reset and this is done using a two – step authentication mechanism.
