Javascript to call WordPress XMLRPC API wp.getPost function

This is what I need: A single HTML file that can use Javascript (but not PHP) to call the wp_getPost function of the WordPress XMLRPC API and return the raw xml. I will provide the [login to view URL] address, blog_id, username, password and post_id. All these parameters can be hard-coded. [login to view URL] The primary restriction is that this HTML file needs to be able to be placed locally on many different machines (Windows/Mac) and have basically no other configuration at all. If a javascript library needs to be referenced, it must be able to be placed on [login to view URL] (my URL) and referenced there even though this HTML will only be loaded from local machines) or somehow built into the HTML file without external references. (I don't know if this is possible, I'm not a javascript expert). If this isn't possible, this isn't going to meet my use case and I'll need to try something different. The browsers used will be Safari and Internet Explorer. If this works, I will most likely have a ton more work for you implementing the rest of the WordPress XMLRPC API functions.
