General purpose The purpose of the application is to enable users to register their device with a central database. The device can only be registered if at least two matching values exist in the database (IMEI and IMSI) The IMEI and IMSI pair must be imported by the administrator. Users can further update records including private and public records as well as deregister a device which belongs to them. General users, by scanning the OR code available on the device, can retrieve the “public” information which the device owner provided for public access. The aim is to connect the owner with the user who has found the “lost” device. Other considerations To be discussed further with the appointed developer.
