The project is about polishing the RAILS/heroku side of an iOS app prototype. The applications themselves are fairly simple and only 'exotic' feature is APN. The whole prototype used to work properly ; but APN is not working anymore and RAILS app appears to be quite slow on startup - quite surely because of some server-side component upgrade. Development and testing of an ath9k linux driver for the Atheros Wireles chipset . Ath9k is an open-source linux driver for 802.11 a/b/g/n platforms. The goal of the development is to write C+ code to identity smart phone MAC addresses in a enclosed space and track the traffic flow of customers based on their individual MACs. The APN devices we need to do the firmware update are from Open Mesh and device specs are available online. We expect the amount of code to build this shell is around 200 lines and we further need to test the code in a live environment which will be part of the required work.
