We need an asynchronous web paging interface that allows a user to browse a selection of C# code files.
We will provide you with 10 files, each containing C# snippets and a link with which to down load the freeware Squishy Syntax Highlighter. The files will be in numeric order, 1-10.txt. Squishy is an easy to use C# assembly that highlights code. It can be downloaded at: [login to view URL]
Your ASP.NET website should contain four buttons. Two marked with "<" and ">" serving as forward and back buttons, and two marked with "<<" and ">>" serving as start and end buttons.
The buttons should be arranged in order of << < > >>.
These buttons should reside on the bottom the webpage. When a button is clicked the application should retrieve the contents of a given file, format it using the Squishy Syntax Highlighter (use rules that are identical to the formatting in vs 2005) and display the C# syntax in the content area of the webpage.
Note, this should be ASYNCHRONOUS and should NOT reload the entire page (IE, use AJAX scripting techniques).
The < button should step back 1 file, the > should page forward one file. The << button should return to 1, and the >> should go to 10.
While loading each file, the application should show the attached animated GIF file.
The app should NOT use frames, please use DIVs.
