I have enhanced the checkboxlist control to have few more properties and the main one being the [READONLY]. But the problem I am habving is as follows :
SCENARIO1
for example I have two items in Checkboxlist : Item1 and Item2 and I select both of then I hit the readonly button on my webform which sets the READONLY property to true and dsiplays the two selected values which is exactly what I wanted it to do.
But then comes the:
SCENARIO 2: If I select(Checked) both the options and disable the control , it disables the control with both the options still checked.
Now if I select or programatically make the control readonly or Postback then the control looses it state and does't display any checked items as there are none.
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks in advance for the time and effort.
