I have a background in technical writing and editing gained through a scientific career spanning 17 years. During this time I wrote my own theses (PhD), published refereed papers and a large number of other written outputs. I have also supervised a number of students and proof read and edited their work. As a consequence, I have an "eye" for written detail as well as an excellent command of the English Language. More recently, I have been involved in some general writing and editing involving real estate, home improvement, business and history.
