Abort Windows shutdown

I need a code that can abort Windows shutdown that is initiated by the user. For example, by catching WM_QUERYENDSESSION that Windows will be sending to the GUI when its(win) shutting down, you can answer with zero and it will stop the shutdown. You can even set a reason for blocking shutdown (ShutdownBlockReasonCreate) and to make sure our app is the first to be notified about the shutdown we set SetProcessShutdownParameters to 0x03FF. Then the Windows will show a full screen dialog that states "X programs still needs to close" and let the user force close and shutdown Creating the code above isn't the problem, its a few lines of code. What we need is, we want to avoid that "Force close" window. That way, we can show our own full screen window on a shutdown attempt. TIP: We managed to overcome this in win7 by simply closing the "force close" window by using its class [CLASS:BlockedShutdownResolver]. It can also be closed by sending escape key. We need a solution for WIN8 and WIN10.
