Preparation of 3D Cockfight Animation (Animation #2 - Inflicting Damage to One of the Players)

Task: Animation 2 - an animation inflicting damage to one of the players, can be done as two linked moves: attack in defense and attack with a result (defense failed). Duration: up to 4 seconds. Individual actions should be discernible even to someone unfamiliar with cockfights. Examples of successful defense against a series of claw strikes and unsuccessful defense due to anticipating a beak strike are provided in the application. Project Brief: An gaming application featuring turn-based battles and visually stunning animations of enemy collisions. The project theme is "Cockfights," popular in southern countries and banned in most developed nations. The game will not depict excessive violence, but it is important to replicate the "natural" realism of a cockfight, which differs from human or animal fights. Therefore, high-quality, detailed animations with minimal "magical effects" are required. In the battle, players engage in 1-on-1 combat and choose defense-attack combinations for three collisions (selection occurs simultaneously within a limited time). After the selection, the results are calculated, and three pre-prepared animations representing a single battle (consisting of 3 collisions) should be played. The animations should smoothly transition from one to another (i.e., have positions that allow blending). The combinations to determine the animation involve a combination of defense+attack from player #1 and attack+defense from player #2. One animation includes: 1. Initial positions They should be universal so that any animation can return to them and start anew. The initial positions must maintain a distance between the roosters. Rotating them on the arena is allowed. The arena is a 3D space, and if the roosters return to positions that only differ in their orientation to the viewer when exiting an animation, the camera will adjust accordingly. 2. Convergence The moment when the roosters come closer for further actions. 3. Collision, which differs for animations similar to Animation #2 and Animation #3: For analogs of Animation #2, there should be 2 collisions where pairs of Player #1's Attack and Player #2's Defense, and Player #1's Defense and Player #2's Attack are played out. The order of these pairs can be determined at your discretion. For analogs of Animation #3, the collision is equivalent to a complete collision, meaning practically seamless and/or parallel execution of all 4 actions by both players. 4. Return to initial positions Shifting around the center axis of the arena is allowed. Development language: Unreal Engine.
