Hello All, We are looking for a several witty freelance writers that have passion for, and a strong background in writing professionally. We are in the midst of developing a small freelance team that we can work with on a regular basis to supplement our in-house editorial writers. We are looking for specific writers that have an interest and experience in writing about automotive, outdoor, type subjects. We have several topics relating to hot rods, racing that we will need to write on so an understanding and passion for automotives, 4x4's is a must. In short, we run and operate several media and entertainment websites spanning across a wide array of topics including (Inspirational People/Hidden Talents, Extreme/Action Sports, Classic Car, Hot Rods, Nascar, Motorcylce Racing, NHRA, Offroading, Heavy Machinery and Outdoor subjects including, Hiking, Camping & Survival Gear). Our goal for our freelance team is to focus on writing entertaining content that generally speaking, will be used in support of a provided video of a specific event, or action. The voice should be casual, yet informative to inform the readers of the details of the video and/or subject. Primary focus should be to entertain with secondary to inform. Proper (will be provided) keywords should be included throughout the copy as to better position our online presence. In order to apply our requirements are: 1) Must have relevant writing samples demonstrating proven expertise in writing entertaining yet data-rich copy on these subject(s) that is specifically structured for the online reader (headlines etc where needed so that content can be easily scanned). 2) Article assignments are to be a minimum of 750 words, SEO focused, and void of any grammatical errors. 3) Have a deep understanding of automotive, classic cars, hot rods, racing, both current events + technical background Professionals only please.
