Many countries in Asia have seen its e-commerce market expand rapidly. The gross merchandise value (GMV) of China online shopping has increased above 15% for the past few years. Online shopping in South Korea has been very popular too. In 2013, revenue from online shopping had reached US$9.59 billion and in 2014, it had reached US$11.53 billion..Students will write a research proposal that addresses the decision or problem of Mr White, a leading venture capitalist, who has abundant resources to expand his profit bases on e-retailing. An unsuccessful prediction will hurt Mr White’s investment in Asia. Your research proposal is based on exploring Online Shopping in Indonesia, Singapore or Malaysia. Mr White is interested to understand demand & supply conditions and government stance in either of those countries.
