I'm on the lookout for a talented illustrator with expertise in cartoon-style drawings to bring life to my children's book. She meets Dewd, the English bulldog, that works at the dental office right when she walks in. My eBook targets young readers 2-10 that are nervous to go to the dentist. The book teaches them about the things they will do and see at the dentist for the first time. The goal of the eBook is for them to achieve: 1. confidence in going to the dentist, 2. Exactly what they can expect in the dental chair at their first appointment. I want the readers to have a fun view of going to the dentist and to not worry about it. I think every parent wants their child to love going to the dentist, even though they might have not had a good experience. I want kids to know the dentist and their oral health is important and brushing properly is crucial. So why is oral health important, and what is the best way to brush? The author: I am a dentist and have been for 21 years. I do take my dog Dewd everyday to work with me as a therapy//emotional support. Many people and children are afraid of the dentist and Dewd helps them to be happy and forget their fears. My target audience are young children ages 2-10 and their parents.
