I am looking for someone who can help manage my advertising/marketing with some small publications and organisations. The person hired must be able to communicate appropriately via email and must be able to minimally modify Word documents by changing the Title of the document---essentially altering a conference name and date. More extensive work with Word may be required.
One part of the job is to contact newsletter/journal editors to get details about advertising costs and due dates and to keep track of the information obtained. Another part of the job is to contact conference organizers to inquire about sending flyers/price lists and to follow up with the flyers etc. We will work together to identify newsletters/conferences.
In some cases it may be necessary to photocopy and mail a hundred or so flyers, which obviously I will pay for. However, I will look for alternative solutions for this part.
This will be ongoing, but somewhat irregular, work and the person hired will have to have reasonable access to the internet and possibly access to photocopying/mailing services. Other tasks may be required depending on the person’s skills.
