We have a game which is currently on mobile. We also have a version running on OSX, and need the code ported to MS Windows.
The code currently consists of 14 portable libraries plus the main game code. This sounds like a lot, but many of the libraries are rather tiny, and probably doesn't require anything but the project setup. 98% of the code is written is in modern portable c++, so it import you know your way around templates, lambdas, and so on. There is some code that will need platform specific behaviour implemented such as openal for sound, file path problems of all kinds (\\ versus /), opening a web browser, implementing mutexes, etc. The code relies on SDL ([login to view URL]) and boost for many things, so it will be beneficial if you are familiar with those.
The project will probably take a month or two, and at this stage I am hoping to pay approximately £1000 / month for full time work.
I have three years of experience in game programming. I have worked with various platform and often worked on porting games. Currently I am working on a mini-game engine on windows 7. I have never worked with windows 8 but if we will make it on windows 7 the rest will be straightforward.
I would be really glad to work on a project like this.
If you think I can help you please contact me.

Hi, I am a C++ programmer I usually focus on making 2d games from scratch but I can also use UE4 to code complex 3D games. Im a bit more expensive than your stated budget but at this price I can take the train from France to present the work done and answer questions details (once a month) and I offer free maintenance if it in the case that a bug caused by my code is discovered (for life).
