product transfer from html site to magento - product writing

I have a client who has a very old html site and I am trying to get him to magento site. This old site has no database, no import/export function, just simply html pages full of products. I need to transfer around 30 products to start with to the new site. All products have to be transfered manually. Some products have colors, some don't. You must know how magento works to set up proper categories and add products.
