An interpreter and general assistant for an English speaking film director is needed during the pre-production planning and filming of an independent film in Minsk. Required from 15th Jan - 4th March (these dates could change by one or two days). You must be able to demonstrate that you have sufficient English language skills and proficiency with technology, social media and know your way around Minsk. Other requirement are as follows: - Hold a degree or are currently completing a degree related to the English language. - Have an interest in cinema and arts. - Have an open mind. - Be able to communicate with all people regardless of their age, background or personality. - Be able to think quickly and solve problems. - Ability to work long hours. - Arrive on time. - A positive attitude. - Ability to take directions. - Be proficient with Google maps, Viber, WhatsApp, Skype, Vkontakte, Facebook. Hi, in my opinion, I meet the requirements in the job description and as far as relevant experience goes, I used to work as interpreter at the Minsk Chamber of Commerce and Trade during my university years; in that role, I assisted Belarus and foreign company executives in business dealings and negotiations. I also have work experience in multiple sectors and have a wide range of interests so I would consider myself a well-rounded person.
