- I would like to complete all 6,000+ calculations contained in my Excel spreadsheet (attached in Project) within 48 hours after awarding you - My computer DOES NOT have the processing power to complete this number of calculations within a reasonable time frame - I am looking for anyone with experience in completing a large number of Excel-style calculations in a short amount of time - If you are interested and capable, please respond to this job request by using the following sentence in your subject line: "EXCEL TIME" - If you are going to use Excel to complete this, please find my INSTRUCTIONS for completion on Sheet 2 of the attached file - If you wish to use a different strategy - please let me know and explain your approach to me

"EXCEL TIME" Hello there. I would be glad to help you out with this project. I have experience managing large amount of data in excel to perform calculations. I will make a couple of tests to see how is the performance in my computer. If it is not succesfull I would be using VBA macros to make the process a little faster. I hope to hear back from you soon. Dear sir, I've checked your Excel file carefully. It needed 6000 * 281 = 17 millions cell calculated. And EACH cell is complicated –> Excel can't handle it in few days. My solution is I'll re-write algorithm in C++ or something –> write result to Excel file As an MS in Applied Math/CS, I'm very good in algorithm, my solution will be much more faster than Excel. I believe that I can make it done within 1 days or 36 hours. Kind regards, Francis T.

EXCEL TIME Hi, I've had a quick look at the sheet and your requirements, it seems you're doing a lot of repetition on some of Excel's slower functions. I could look get this back to you with the values your require leaving it to run, once this has completed I'll send you amended formulas to speed up the process for you running it yourself. I will developpe some macros and a vba application that will do all required computations in short time all what you will nedd is to press a boutton and to wait a few sacondes. Macros is a very useful tools that simplify computations.
