Macro to copy and paste data from files

Hi, I have a number of spreadsheets that I need to copy and paste data from. Extracts of these are attached. The extracts are from much larger (and growing) files so please bear this in mind. Also attached is an example file for you to work on. 1. First, I want the macro to find all matches that a player has batted in then copy and paste the applicable rows into the ScorecardBatting sheet in the example. In the Controls sheet I will select the name of the player. The macro will first need to lookup the unique player ID from column C of the Lineups file and find the ID in Column D. This ID can then be used to find all matches the player has batted in from column D of the ScorecardBatting file. Each row should then be pasted into the ScorecardBatting sheet in the example file along with the players name and the league, season and date of the particular match from the Matches file. Headings have been included in the example file as a guide. Note: it may be that the player did not bat in any matches. 2. Second, the macro should do the same for the entries for the selected player from the BallByBall file. Again, the macro will first need to lookup the unique player ID from column C of the Lineups file and find the ID in Column D. This ID can then be used to find all the balls the player has faced from column F of the BallByBall file. Each row should then be pasted into the BallByBallBatting sheet in the example file along with the players name and the league, season and date of the particular match from the Matches file. Headings have been included in the example file as a guide. Note: it may be that the player did not bat in any matches. 3. Third, I want the macro to find all matches that the player has bowled in then copy and paste the applicable rows into the ScorecardBowlng sheet in the example. As with the others, the macro will first need to lookup the unique player ID from column C of the Lineups file and find the ID in Column D. This ID can then be used to find all matches the player has bowled in from column D of the ScorecardBowling file. Each row should then be pasted into the ScorecardBowling sheet in the example file along with the players name and the league, season and date of the particular match from the Matches file. Headings have been included in the example file as a guide. Note: it may be that the player did not bowl in any matches. 4. Fourth, the macro should do the same for the entries for the selected player from the BallByBall file. Again, the macro will first need to lookup the unique player ID from column C of the Lineups file and find the ID in Column D. This ID can then be used to find all the balls the player has bowled from column E of the BallByBall file. Each row should then be pasted into the BallByBallBowling sheet in the example file along with the players name and the league, season and date of the particular match from the Matches file. Headings have been included in the example file as a guide. Note: it may be that the player did not bowl in any matches. Code should be efficient and take only a few seconds to run. No formulas to be used. After the macro has first been run it should skip existing data to avoid duplication/speed up running. This project uses cricket data so a knowledge of the game will be very helpful. Please ask if you have any questions.
