Simple Online Game

NOTE: Before you place a bid, we encourage you to ask questions that will help you more fully understand our requirements and efficiently estimate the schedule and cost to deliver it. This project involves WordPress development with custom code to result in a simple online game. At a high level, the system we'd like to develop must do the following: * Allow Administrator to create a PLAY page AND a PRIZE EMAIL Template for each game * Validate format of Email Address entered by user * Verify DOMAIN in the Email Address (it's not a public game) * Check ANSWER to see if it's CORRECT * Present appropriate RESULTS page (based on user's answer and eligibility) * Select 100 INSTANT WINNERS (randomized, 17 per week) over 45-day game * Automatically notify WINNERS (trigger the PRIZE EMAIL) Additional requirements include: * Administrators require ad hoc reporting of the above DB. * Multiple incorrect entries are allowed, but... * INSTANT WINNERS must answer correctly on first entry. * All who eventually submit a correct answer are eligible to win the game's GRAND PRIZE. * No user can be INSTANT or GRAND PRIZE winner twice during a given game Here is what we need: 1. LOGIN PAGE: The front end LOGIN page will include a simple webform. Enter button is deactivated until user enters valid email address. When clicked the user is redirected to an external URL. (At least that's the current plan.) 2. BACKEND for LOGIN: The backend LOGIN will capture the user's email. We'd also like to capture the DATE/TIME and a SESSION ID to record the total session duration AND, importantly, to recall the user's email address when they return to the site after visiting the external URL. NOTE: If it is NOT possible to track a user/session through an external URL, we will have to resort to Plan B (which we have loosely defined). 3. PLAY PAGE: The front end PLAY page will include a simple webform that asks 1 multiple choice question. The user will select one of the answer options from a dropdown box and then click Play. 4. BACKEND for PLAY PAGE: Upon a user's submission, the backend will capture the entry (i.e. all that is known, so, if possible, the Session ID, Session duration, the user, the Date/Time, and the answer) and check to determine if the user's answer is correct. If correct, the system will determine if it's the user's FIRST submission for this specific game. If both correct AND the user's first submission, the entry is eligible to become an INSTANT WINNER. The system must randomly identify 17 INSTANT WINNERS each week. IF the user has not already been an instant winner, the resulting page will be the WINNER page. ALL users who submit a correct answer are eligible for the final GRAND PRIZE (the plan is to award a grand prize every 45 days). 5. RESULT PAGE - RIGHT ANSWER: When a user submits the correct answer, the resulting page will have a small bit of copy and a CLOSE button to close the page/tab. 6. RESULT PAGE - WRONG ANSWER: When a user submits an incorrect answer, the resulting page will have a small bit of copy and a BACK button to return the user to the PLAY page (a user will be allowed to resubmit until he/she submits the right answer). A user who first submits an incorrect answer and then resubmits a correct answer is NOT eligible to be an INSTANT WINNER, but is eligible to be a GRAND PRIZE winner. 7. RESULT PAGE - WINNER: When a user submits the correct answer, the resulting page will have a small bit of copy and a CLOSE button to close the page/tab.
