Hi, I am a paralegal working for two law firms in London. I am well versed in preparing court bundles, position statements and particulars of claim. I have worked on immigration cases, including applying for a British Citizenship. As a legal intern at PSA Mckenzie Solicitors, I was responsible for organising documents and summarising cases for court proceedings. Moreover, I interpreted and relayed legal information in a clear format for clients under the supervision of two lead solicitors. I have learned how to write letters of authorisation, write submissions, and reply to emails in an organised, concise, and persuasive form. I answered up to twenty calls per day to respond to inquiries and transfer calls to the correct personnel. I filled out ten personal injury claim forms after initial meetings with the clients. I was making sure that the solicitor’s accounts complied with the SRA Accounts Rules. This experience has allowed me to apply classroom knowledge in a practical way, including contract and criminal law. I have acquired an understanding of substantive law and legal procedures, eliminating unrealistic outcomes, and assimilating information from multiple sources. I have worked on contracts as well. I believe that the above-mentioned experience makes me a perfect candidate for this role.
