This project involves designing of a mobile payment system which consists of a central server , merchant and a user. Merchant (j2me implementation) sends the parameters (amount that user need to pay) to the Server(JBoss implementation).Server processes the request from the merchant and sends a TAN to it , the TAN is sent to the Server by the user(j2me implementation) , which in turn checks for the valid TAN and the confirmation is sent back to both merchant and the [login to view URL] whole log is provided to both user and the merchant via web interface. Furthermore a corollary application is designed such that any two users can transfer money from each others mobile provided that they have some credit here merchant and server are connected through GPRS, Server sends and receives messages from user via SMS both binay and text.
