27353 ActionScript write data to CSV

My name is Jared Anderson, I'm from Australia and I do small contract work for companies designing basic training Presentations using Flash 8. I create interactive flash presentations that train people in certain legislative requirements. I need to be able to track who has viewed these presentation and store that information in a CSV file so that we can meet our legislative requirements. When a person has watched our training presentation I want them to click a “submit” button, this button will automatically write the required information to a CSV file stored on a network sever. Important Considerations: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Important: The script must be an action script built into a Flash file, this script must be able to automatically recognize the User that is logged onto that XP OS/computer, and it must be able to generate the date. (Other variables will need to be written to the CSV but these 2 values are critical.) It must then be able to write to a Coma Separated Value file that is stored on a network sever (the sever will also be change often so this needs to be a variable script) The person viewing the presentation will only click on a "Submit" Button, they are not allowed to enter in their own User ID or Date ect, this must be automatically generated as per the legislative requirements. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- When the Viewer Presses the "Submit" Button the following information needs to be written to the CSV file. The Required Fields: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Course Code: This will be a constant value and does not need to be automatically generated, but it needs to be clearly highlighted in the script (using comments) as I'll need to modify the course code for each presentation. E.g.: da00007 User ID: This needs to be automatically generated as each viewer will have a different User ID, this information needs to come from the Users machine as the person will not logon to any web page or flash file. Perhaps the Local Registry stores this information, All computer systems are Windows Xp Service pack 2, The network is Windows Server. E.g.: L77215 Date: The date that the "submit" button was pressed needs to be automatically generated and written to the CSV file. E.g.: 19042006 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Re-Usability: Each presentation needs to write to its own CSV file as the script will be used multiple times. For Example: [login to view URL] needs to write to [login to view URL] [login to view URL] must write to [login to view URL] So there needs to be a Clearly Highlighted script that tells the .fla what .csv it is writing to. Error messages: If there is an error, I would like the script to navigate the flash movie to frame: 50 If it successfully completes the action I would like it to go to frame :55 As I plan to put an Error message/ successfully competed message on each of these frames to instruct the user on what action to take next. General Comments: Their must not be any code that performs any action other then what is requested! It cannot hit any website in order to count the script's use and it cannot store any information or send any information or modify any data in any way, as the security team will reject its use and we will not be able to use your services again. Please make all of the script very clear, with comments to explain what each section does, as I'll need to update its values for each presentation, and all code must be royalty free and fully viewable. Please quote a good estimate of cost and if I agree to your price I am happy to test the script on your web server and see the csv output before we finalize the payment. If this works well I would like to see about another project for getting an action script to launch MS Windows applications, and a Forum web page that people can write to and have personal accounts ect, for general discussion.
