I use a tooltip template written in Javascript on my website. The problem is that for Safari & Chrome users, the tooltip windows are not positioned properly. The project consists of fixing the tooltip code so that they behave the same as for Firefox & IE users.
Here is a webpage using the tooltips:
To see the correct behavior, open the page in Firefox or IE, and mouse over a thumbnail. A tooltip appears and does *not* cover the moused-over image.
To see the faulty behavior, open the same page in Safari or Chrome, and mouse over a thumbnail. The tooltip covers the moused-over image.
Here is the tooltip library: [login to view URL]
Also, create an additional function showPicTooltip to shorten the tooltip call:
showPicTootip(this, 'Tidepool at Rialto beach','olym11123','np-pacific/olym11123','parks/[login to view URL]')
instead of code showTootip(this, '<table width=180> ...) as found for display of the first thumbnail in code for the above-referenced webpage.
