Joomla Custom Calendar Component

I require a CUSTOM calendar component for a clients website. See attached image before reading further. Front End: Monthly/Yearly paging Booked dates are 'crossed' out. When cursor hovers over non-booked dates a popup shows with the date and the phone number as in the image. 'Potential client' then simply phones the number to book. My client said that he might want people to click on available dates to make online bookings sometime in the future. So future proof the code. Back End: This should be a component. When a menu item of Calendar type component is created the component sits in the middle of the screen. IE: a large calendar When a customer phones through to place a booking, my client must simply display a calendar view of the component in the Joomla backend and click on a Book Now button to confirm the booking. Simple as that. See attached image, Sunday column for how that works. For a developer who knows Joomla components and PHP, this should be a breeze. Ask any questions. DO NOT USE existing calendar/booking controls like Jcal or JEvents. THEY DO NOT WORK for this project. Due to bad experiences in the past, no Indians or Asians need apply!!!
