Design and develop an algorithm to smoothen the fluctuating output power of Solar PV using hybrid energy storage system consisting of battery and supercapacitor. To make it simple, a low pass filter can be used to isolate the low and high frequency power components between battery and supercapacitor, respectively. But you are not forced to use low pass filter. It can be implemented very easily in Matlab/Simulink. You are given flexibility to choose technologies, system, constraints, sizes, and input data yourself.
Main Goal: The input to your model is fluctuating solar power signal and output is the smoothed power.
Skills and experience needed for the job:
- Proficiency in Matlab/Simulink
- Strong background in PV system and storage system
- Experience in working with numerical data analysis
