I am unable to view my phone screen on my computer using Android Screen Monitor. All I see is a black screen in the Android Screen Monitor window. This project is to get Android Screen Monitor working on my computer so that I can see my phone screen. I have a fresh install of Win 7 Pro SP1 in a virtual computer using VMware Workstation 12.5. I installed the latest Android SDK as of August 13th, 2017. I installed java JRE version 8 update 44. I am using Android Screen Monitor 3.00. I also tried version 2.50 and it did not work either. My phone is a Samsung S7 Edge. I have enabled "developer options", and then enabled "USB debugging". Before trying to run Android Screen Monitor, it appears the phone is connected... c:\adb devices -l List of devices attached 949e2d0d device product:hero2qlteuc model:SAMSUNG_SM_G935A device:hero2qlteatt Do not suggest any solutions that require rooting my phone.
