Fix bug/connection between ASP website and MSSQL Database

I'm transferring servers and am having an issue with displaying content that is supposed to be pulled from the database. All wwwroot files have been transferred. The database has been attached to the MSSQL Server manager. The Database connection string is intact. I installed Database Manager for IIS 7 and can see and connect to the database via the database connection string. To help, I have the old server and new server side by side for testing. The old server works fine, the new server displays an error where content is supposed to be shown. This is a custom cms, not based on anything popular that was available at the time. I seem to be missing something, should be a minor fix,

Hi, Can you provide the error detail? Is logging available in application which logs error to somewhere? Did you check your event viewer? it would be helpful if you provide these informations to resolve this issue. Thanks.
