Set up Carto DB server and monitoring system

Land Technologies is looking for a development partner for a new website. The website is aimed at small developers looking to find and assess land for housing. A map will be the core part of the product. Much of the development will be done in-house. We are looking for expertise to help get the core back-end up and running. Requirements A map that displays land ownership boundaries Click on a land parcel to view full land information Track usage of the map and make the data available in a specified format We aim to provide a map with many layers of information that will help guide a housing developer to assess land and it’s potential for housing. Land ownership boundaries is just one of the core layers we aim to release for the first version of the app. Some map layers, including the land ownership boundaries, are not open data, so we need to track usage to pay royalties to data providers. See the Tracking Requirements for more details. Technical Requirements The development partner will work with us in choosing the mapping platform. CartoDB or another Node.js solution that works with Postgres or MongoDB is expected. The land boundaries dataset is around 10GB in size. The solution should be capable of loading that data and viewing it on a map (at a high zoom level only). Sample data can be downloaded here. We expect detailed instructions for setting up the hosted environment to be included. The server should be set-up using Amazon EC2 hosting or another agreed-upon cloud hosting service.
