Import and export Excel file to and from a marketing database.
This project is identical to a flat file import/export routine, except that it must import/export Excel files directly through a web interface.
Import Use case:
Marketing Professional (MP) visits web site and uploads Excel file containing customer information (first row defines schema, subsequent rows contain customer records).
MP clicks "Import" button and receives message "Import in process. Estimated time to completion: 90 seconds".
Import of excel file happens asynchronously.
(Code will later be extended to email MP upon import complete)
Export Use Case:
Marketing Professional visits web site and select "Export to Excel" button.
Message immediately displays "Export in process" with estimate of time to compete while actual export is done asynchronously.
(Code will later be extended to email MP upon import complete)
See attached document for detailed requirements.
