We have a requirement for the following component to be designed. We are a Microsoft house, and thus the component would need to be accessible from VB6 (for use as a component) and from .NET. We need a component which will takes an existing JPEG image, and splits that image into multiple (upto 10 depending on the size of the image) horizontal slices. The component would output the HTML code required to rebuild that image intact (in slices) on a clients web browser. We would prefer to store the split image into a temporary directory, which would be accessed prior to generating the split images, effectively requiring us to split the image once only. (eg, if its already been split, dont split it a second time, just spit out the HTML)
## Deliverables
Complete and fully-functional working component, and Visual Basic test-bed application in executable form. Complete source code of both the component and test-bed application. Complete source and copyrights to all work purchased.
## Platform
Component would need to be accessible from Visual Basic and the .NET programming environment. As to what the component itself is coded in, we are not fussed - We use VB, but I know this component would be faster in something like VC++ (or C#)
