The idea is to have a DB based Q&A page where users can view and search questions and answers and contributers can add Q&As. It is unlikely to be more than 100 questions in 4-7 different categories. It must be easy for the user to get a quick overview over the question category and easily browse into individual questions and answers. If possible a free web site indexer and search engine such as <[login to view URL]> should be integrated into the page.
The main components are the administrative back-end and the user oriented front-end.
The back end which only authorized persons should be able to use, (authorization can be handled by the web server, so there is no need to develop) should consist of an input page where the questions and answers can be inputted, an edit page where already inputted questions can be edited, a category page where categories can be created and a contributor (user) page where new contributors can be added. Each question should be assigned to a category. Whenever a question is created, the name and email of the contributer who created it, should appear after the answer.
The front end should consist of a page with the question categories and individual questions. When clicking on each question category the user is taken to a page with the actual questions. Each question and answer must be numbered so that there can be numerical references to it, eg. “see question 123??. The front-end must be integrated into the current web site structure that is built in Dreamweaver. A page is attached.
