Easy Jsp to maintain report parameters

This should be pretty easy for an experienced java web programmer. I need a maintenance screen with retrieve, insert, delete and update capability. It's all against a single mysql table. The number of fields will vary between 15 - 35 depending on report. At the top of the window, I want a table cosisting of the first 8 fields of the table. If I select a row then press the populate button then I want the rest of the table populated on a screen that lists the remaining fields. All fields should be updatable. I'd like every other row shaded. You must get everything working on my website and use jdk1.4. You code must be well-structured, well-tested and documented before delivery.
