Hello, We would like to add a stock price graph to our web site. The PHP image library that we have been looking at is called JpGraph . However, we are open to using other libraries. Here is the example data that needs to be graphed: BuImp 1 15 2005/10/06 16:27:07 1 2 38 7188 Where: BuImp: is the stock symbol 1: is the quantity of shares traded 15: is the price of the trade (ranging from 0 to 100) 2005/10/06 16:27:07 : is the date and time of the transaction 1: is the total number of shares outstanding in the stock 2: is the total number of people owning shares in the stock 38 and 7188: are the user IDs of the traders involved (can be ignored) All fields are separated by tab characters (the separator between the date and time is a space character). The line is terminated with a newline character. Basically, we'd like a price plot for the history of the stock. The Y-axis (price) units range from 0 to 100. The X-axis units should vary depending on how much data is available to plot. For example, if only a week's worth of trades exist, the X-axis might be divided into daily sections; if a year's worth of data exists, the X-axis might be divided into months. Two other items: -Including volume as part of the plot. The plot generator would need to sum up trading quantities for the time intervals used on the X-axis (days, months, etc.) and generate another plot line (or bar graph) from these. -Including capitalization (number of shares outstanding) and number of people participating as part of the plot. I think these would be aggregated similar to how volume is. It's basically a line graph that will plot the price of a stock over a given time period. Please let me know if you have any questions.
