Walk through for a migration from a slice XEN VPS to EC2

We are a tech savvy company looking at the possibilities of migrating some of our XEN VPS Ubuntu boxes to EC2. We are looking to spend some time getting to know the installation and setup of instances to creating external storage and backup solutions. The Job would simply be walking us through the installation, explaining the processes that Amazon provides to access the services (SSH, web interface, API, etc) and testing a new instance with Ubuntu 10.04 or later. This job has less to do with technical ability and more to do with being able to communicate clearly. The process of using Amazon's features, quickly showing how it could benefit us, how to setup a test system, and how to use the tools that are available from amazon to admin/backup/expand the instances. We are essentially looking to take a tour of the cloud and you will be our technical guide. By the end of our tour we should expect to have a small running instance with Ubuntu and an understanding of how to use the tools provided by Amazon to manage/expand it.
