3d cart integration with FreightCenter.com API for shipping

We need to create an installable module for the 3d cart shopping cart program. This module or plugin would allow anyone with 3d cart to get instant freight rates for items in their cart from [login to view URL] using the [login to view URL] freight API. The API has two web services. One that gets a list of prices and one that let's the user book their freight shipment. This plugin will use both services. This plugin is going to have to have a page for plugin settings within 3d cart that will allow the user to enter their FreightCenter user name and password as well as their freight preferences. Also, this plugin would have to alter the product pages to allow the user to add a freight class.
