This is a programming task that involves merging a set of databases and using those databases to create new variables, which will be appended to a set of base data. The details of the programming are explained (with examples) in the PDF document attached. Also in the zip file are sample files.
You will develop SAS code with detailed descriptions of what you are doing with each command which I will then run on my machine on the full datasets (they are over 1 million observations, hence the need for running it on my home machine). I use SAS 9.1.

Also, it is likely that I will hire two coders to do the exact same thing. This is not a statement about your programming skills--it is a robustness check on the data. Plus, different programmers program in different ways, and I'm interested in that as well.
