We want a website that allows users to file reports that can be viewed by visitors. We need a website that is completely SEO/web 2.0. We will consider building the site with ASP.net or PHP technology. Make sure you mention in your bid which language you would prefer to build the program in. We will provide the design as a PSD file. You will be in charge of converting it into XHTML. The site will be database driven. Details of the site: Users will be able to signup. They will be given a username, password. There will be login fields. A user will be able to submit a business scam report to our site. All submitted reports will go into a queu that we must approve prior to the report being posted on our site. User will be able to update their report at any time. (They will not be able to change their first report, but instead, they will be able to write an additional report as an update). We will need contact forms for people to reach us. We need to be able to update our static pages, such as our FAQ, About Us, and other such pages, through the backend. Our website will be free for all users. However, we will display ads by Google Adsense and other ad providers. We need to be able to ad our adsense code through the backend. We need all URLs to be SEO friendly, and to be automatically created based on the title of the complaint page. So let's say someone writes a scam report about a company called ABC Incorporated, then the title will be "Scam Report: ABC Incorporated". The URL would be "[login to view URL]" The description meta tag would say "Read scam report about ABC Incorporated", and the keyword meta tag would say "abc incorporated, scam report". NOW, this is all just an example, we will let you know exactly how we want all the words in the title and meta data, but this should give you a good idea of mainly how we want it to work. We may also want to include the city, state, zip, or officer name of the company who the report is about in the title or meta data. Through the backend we need to be able to modify or delete any scam report entry by a user. Business owners who reports are written about should also be allowed to write a dispute/rebuttal which will become part of the scam report page. When users sign up, they should receive an email that welcomes them and gives them their username (which should be their email), and password. The login fields on the homepage and elsewhere should also have a "forgot" your password link which will allows users to retrieve their password. A user who files a complaint against a company should be able to choose to stay informed if there is a rebuttal or an update made to the report he filed. If the owner of a business files a report, or someone else adds a comment to the report, then the person who filed the report should be sent an email to be informed of the change. Other users could also choose to stay informed of a certain report by clicking on a button that gives them that option. When someone is filing a report, they will tell us somehow, either by button or drop down menu that if he is consumer who wants to file a complaint, or if he is the owner of the business writing a rebuttal. The home page will contain a box that lists the latest reports with a link to see more latest reports. We will also need two sitemaps. An HTML sitemap which will be updated automatically with links of new pages created by users. And an XML sitemap that will update the same way. We will be hosting this website on our own server.
