Design simple MySQL db & simple, very fast PHP query

An existing MySQL database & myPHP query works but not efficiently nor quickly – both need redesigning. The Database holds 3 tables: Table1 holds a list of flights operating between various cities (citycodes) and their fares (less than 1000 rows) Table2 holds a list converting airline codes to airline names. Table3 holds a list converting city codes to city names. The database is only occasionally referred to, ie 3 or 4 times a day. Using the single variable of a city code, the php query should: - retrieve all records for the given city code, - convert the airline code into the airline name using Table2 - convert the citycode into a city name using Table 3 - output the result. No particular formatting for the output is required. Can provide Excel spreadsheets of data to the successful bidder. Any questions, please ask.
