I offer you the following: an admin interface where you upload a CSV file for either "Vehicles List" or "Product Applications". A cronjob will recognize new uploaded files and run the Vehicle Fits command line script. The output of this script is then shown in the admin interface, so you can see when the import is done and if there have been any problems. This solution does not depend on internals of the Vehicle Fits extension, so it's as update-safe as possible. Also for the same reason I don't need access to your systems and can develop the extension on my own system without the Vehicle Fits extension itself.
