Web Developer & Designer

We are looking for a developer with experience in web development and ideally someone who can also design websites. Creativity and high quality designers are a must - average basic designs are not something we are looking for. Please do not apply if you cannot show to us a portfolio of high quality creative website designs. The immediate task is to implement a jQuery Event Guide that will allow the administrator arrange the order of events that appear on the front end by the 'drag and drop' method. The event guide will need to show an associated image, event title, event description, the date of the event (in text form), and the date the event shows from and shows to (phpdate - expired events will not show). This is already in place in a custom PHP calendar that you will be replacing with the jQuery Guide. If this project goes well, the developer will be kept on for future development work. Particular development and design of Wordpress websites. We are looking for a reliable developer that is prepared to work with us now and in the future but also someone who is willing to provide excellent communication with regular updates during a project and stick to agreed timeframes set out for a project.
