Wordpress Website Not Working

My WordPress website ([login to view URL]) is not working properly. It takes a very long time to load a page and often it won't load at all. The last major change I did was 15 days ago when I upgraded to the latest version of WordPress. Unfortunately, my back-ups only go back 14 days. There have been no major changes since then. I also can't log in to administer it either. This is not because I have forgotten my password. I can only assume it is because the page keeps timing out. I don't get a lot of traffic to my website, but it is crucial it is up and running for when somebody does need to access it. I have a theme from Themify installed and very few modules. One module is 'gtranslate'. I don't use this module so I would like it removed in case it causes problems. I do need everything else to work including Twitter which is a feature that came with the theme and was working properly before the website went down. I have checked with my host and there is no issue with the server. They have advised me that they feel WordPress should be reinstalled. I don't mind if WordPress is reinstalled or if the problem is fixed - I just want it working. I need all my pages left intact. It would be disastrous to have to recreate everything. The type of person I am looking for is/has: • Firm understanding and experience with WordPress • Good communication skills • Able to talk via phone or Windows Messenger for a two way conversation rather than rely on emails • Genuinely interested in resolving my issues and ensuring the site is up and running (I have had previous experience with people who have fixed an issue only to create others in the process then become disinterested in getting it to work) Of additional interest to me is someone I can rely on from time to time if I have any other issues. I have two other websites: one on Joomla with Virtuemart and the other based on Zencart. Somebody with these skills and JavaScript would be a bonus (but not essential).
