There is an Opensource Project Management app located at [login to view URL] It is written in PHP and uses MySql. You would download the source (also download a patch that is available for it that fixes several bugs). Here is what I would like done to it: 1. Right now there is just a text file of some instructions for installing and configuring it. I would like an Install Script and Config script added to it so that someone that knows nothing about PHP or MySQl can easily install and configure the application. 2. Make sure it runs on both Unix/Linux or a Windows server. 3. Modify it so during the install the user can choose to use MySQL, MS Access or MS SQL as the database backend. Script should create or install database as necessary automatically. Ease of install is very important. Any suggestions you have to make a professional looking and easy installion and configuration are welcome. You should create an Installation and Configuration document giving step by step instructions (hopefully this will be very small). 4. On the site where you downloaded the app source code there is a link called Bugs that has some bugs that were found in the program (several of the bugs have already been fixed in the patch). Go through the bugs and verify if they have already been fixed or not. If they havn't been fixed go ahead and fix them. 5. On the site where you downloaded the app source code there is a link called Feature Requests that has features some people requested. There are a few of these that I would like implemented. Price is an important consideration. I am looking for a low bid on this project, but with the possibility of a long term relationship. There will be more work and additions to this app if the coder does a good job.
