Wordpress - Debug and fix a single issue I am encountering.

I have an installation of Wordpress, that previously had numerous plugins installed. Including TinyMCE Advanced (editor). All of a sudden I noticed that if I "unlinked" an image or photo within either TinyMCE Advanced or the standard default Wordpress editor, if I try to relink the image by selecting one of the already existing web pages, etc., that already exist within the website, which appear in the "Or link to existing content" section, after clicking on "Insert/edit link" button of either editor. In other installations I have, I can link an image or photo (after having clicked the "unlink" button) without any issue. But in a couple installations, I have run into this issue and want to know what is causing it .. and get it fixed so if the issue comes up again the future, I'll know how to resolve this without having to lose any previous pages, posts, plugin settings, etc. I also ran a plugin that reset the database back to it's original state, and this resolved the problem. But of course, this isn't a solution since I am wanting to know how to resolve the problem without losing any of the current website content, etc., etc. So, it definitely appears to be an issue somewhere in the database. Additional notes: - I have deleted all of the previously existing plugins to insure that it's not a simple conflict with an existing plugin. - I am currently using the most current version of Wordpress. (v3.3.1) - I tested this with the default Wordpress theme to insure it wasn't a conflict with a theme. - I ran several plugins to try and clean the database, but this did not resolve the issue. - The permission settings on the website do not seem to effect this issue. (on the sites where this works fine are the same permissions as the site that is giving me a problem.) I just need to have this fixed, and also know the least invasive steps that I'll need to take in the future so I can correct this if I ever encounter it again.
