Hello, If your main target is to speed-up, then please note that that requires more than merely implementing something than seems like it will work. One has to implement, profile the implementation, then check if it can be done better. For which platform is it? I am ok with either Linux or Windows. There are a couple of data structures you can load the names into that enable you to search for more than one of them at the same time. This by itself will be faster than just adding multiple threads. Then you can use multiple threads or instances to speed that up more. It's a very parallel problem.
